What we’re about
The goal of this group is pretty straightforward: meetup with other 20 & 30-somethings in SF, make great new friends, and join in on a variety of activities & events. I'll encourage a variety of events for all types of people - it can range from chilling in the park, to hiking, playing board-games, or bar-hopping; you propose it and we can try it. The only restrictions for this group are that you must be a nice person and actually show up (most of the time) when you RSVP! Nothing spoils things quite like having 20 people RSVP then being the only one at the cow-milking meet-up (if that's your thing). Looking forward to meeting you all, whether you're a new-grad east-coast transfer or a seasoned SF veteran.

Golden Gate Bridge Bike Ride (DATE CHANGED)
San Francisco Bicycle Rentals, 425 Jefferson St, San Francisco, CA, USHey guys, the weather in Fall is typically pretty fire throughout the Bay. Thus, I want to attempt our typical spring bike ride over the bridge. With clear skies and beautiful sunsets, I think it's a great opportunity to get after it. This ride is a lot of fun and a mostly easy bike ride! We move pretty slow and take plenty of breaks. It's more like a joy ride than anything aggressive although there are a few hills and obstacles.
This event is always a gamble with the San Francisco weather but we tend to get lucky. We'll give it a shot and I'll update the meetup 2 days before if it's canceled.
Route:
We'll depart Fisherman's Wharf at the bike rental location in the morning and ride over the bridge into Sausalito where we'll grab some lunch and check out the small tourist town.Everyone is on their own for lunch once we get into Sausalito & you'll have the option to opt out (some people will be ready to head back) and take the ferry back to Fisherman's Wharf close to where we started.
Those looking for a bit more adventure will have the option to ride into Tiburon with the remaining survivors. Once we hit the edge of Tiburon we'll grab some grub and a drink while we wait to catch the ferry back to the Ferry Building. From there, it's a quick ride north along the Embarcadero to the bike rental dropoff.
The Ride:
We'll be stopping to check out some awesome views along the way which include the Marin Headlands and other famous 'tourist hot spots'. The ride itself does have some uphill climbs and while it's open to everyone, it may be difficult for those not used to riding a bike! The ride itself will take almost 2 hours of pure riding but we'll be stopping pretty regularly to gather the group and check out different areas. Bring some water and sunscreen!
Every now and then we'll break into two different groups in which the first group will do a more challenging course before meeting back up with everyone.
Bike Rentals:
Everyone is responsible for their own bikes. If you need to rent a bike I would recommend checking out San Francisco Bicycle Rentals (http://www.bikerentalsanfrancisco.com/) - this is also the location where we will kickoff from in the morning.I recommend the 'City Bike' or Hybrid. They also have performance bikes or even electric bikes available.
If you reserve online you'll get 20% off which makes the City Bike more reasonable. Reservations are also currently recommended due to popularity.
Weather: If it's raining or there are heavy winds we will postpone this event.
Parking: Don't do it. Take public transportation or a taxi service if you can. There IS parking in Fisherman's Wharf but it's either extremely hard or find or costs a bit for the day.
