What we’re about
This is a group for ladies aged 40+ to socialize, make friends, and plan travel.
I found that when I joined travel groups, it was hard to commit to travelling with ladies I don’t know! Examples of our events will primarily be brunches in the central GTA (from Vaughan Mills Mall to Yorkdale) to meet, bond, then plan dinners, shows, weekend outings and international travel together!
Come and join me at the 5 star RIU Vallarta in March to escape the winter!
Why this location? I have done a ton of research and have discovered:
- Beautiful locations like Los Cabos do NOT have a swimmable beach
- The Pacific side might be safer as there are issues on the Carribean side with SARGASSUM seaweed (I was in it in St Maarten, awful!)
- The Pacific side is more authentic, good food, cooler with less precipitation
- Puerto Vallarta vs Riviera Maya: Here's How to Choose Your Next Mexico Vacation
The RIU Vallarta is in the Banderas Bay, sheltered by the Sierra Madre in Nuevo Vallarta on the Nayarit Riviera. It has excellent beaches, aquatic sports, excursions to see whales, day trip to more authentic areas! This RIU is more a mid-age range, but if you want a young RIU party, we can go next door to the RIU Jalisco!
Hotel Riu Vallarta
All-inclusive leaving Toronto on March 14 for 7 days, the group rate is:
Double room at $1998, or a single room is $2578 (price on hold until Jan 18)
We just need 10 people or more, I will find roommates, I need one also!
RSVP means you have a real interest to go and your schedule permits! We will do a trip meetup to get to know each other/finalize details.
You can buy Worry Free Insurance in case you want to cancel last minute. Also, you get 50% back up to 21 days before departure.
Message me or post on the discussion group with any questions! :)
