Let’s get together on January 16, 2025 at 11:30 am to discuss this subject and share experiences over a good meal.
We will approach the topic from a layperson’s perspective, with emphasis on anti-aging foods. Future meetings will cover exercise, sleep, stress management, socialization and other determinants of the rate of aging. There will be minimum scientific jargon and NO hyping of supplements or products. Hopefully, there may be an expert on this matter among us who can take over and lead the discussion.
Keywords for further study: intercellular communication, senescence, deregulated nutrient sensing: epigenetic alteration, methylation, genomic instability, proteostasis, mitochondrial dysfunction, stem cell exhaustion, telomere attrition.
We will meet at The Executive Diner, 1400 Duke Street, Old Town Alexandria. They have a good menu and a private room to accommodate us. Plenty of free parking at the restaurant.
There will be a follow-up meeting on January 15, 2045 at 11:30 am to compare notes.
