What we’re about
Recreational pickup soccer in the Alpharetta/Milton/Roswell areas - Primarily for fun and exercise - no slide tackles - and most people don't care about the score. BE RESPECTFUL. Feel free to suggest open locations/facilities in the area as well as other dates/times.
Please RSVP if coming - it helps people figure out whether there will be enough people or not - and try to Cancel at least 30-60 minutes before the start time if you change your mind!
Always try to bring a white and a dark(er) shirt to split into groups/teams. Please try NOT to bring/wear grey or yellow OR striped with white. If not enough players have white shirts, the recommendation is: (White + Skins) vs (non-White).
If joining late, after the "game" has started, feel free to jump right in, but keep the team numbers balanced - a team being up by 1 player is OK (again, this is Recreational). Count the number of players on each team, and join the team with 1 less player; otherwise, join either team.
Priority on which field to play on/go to:
1. Lower Turf Fields (these may be taken often by Alpharetta Ambush)
2. Upper Soccer Fields
3. Baseball Outfields (Check Fields 3 or 4 first - they have larger outfields)
Check the message board for the event to see where people are going when you are on your way.
It would be helpful if the "earlier arriving people" can post on the status of the fields - i.e. "Lower Turf Field is available; I'm here" or "Lower Turf and Upper Grass Fields are taken, going to go check Baseball Fields" so we get everyone going to the same place. I'd appreciate any help from everyone with that.
