So, who is ready for an adventure of touring the only remaining restored Gangster Era site in St. Paul? Who would like to tour the extensive caves carved into the hillside in long abandoned mining ventures from the 1800's. Later, was a mushroom farm, and then developed as a Restaurant Casino and Gangster's Hotspot during the 1930's prohibition era.
If this sounds like a tour you would like to experience, then keep on reading.
Tickets to this tour are only $15 (or just $11 for seniors over 65) and are 45-60 minutes in length. We plan on attending the 2:00 pm tour.
Before the tour, we want to meet for lunch at Cossettas at 12:15 pm. Cossettas is a fine Italian restaurant with great food. 😋 It is located at 211 7th St. W, in St. Paul. Looking forward to getting a large group to experience an awesome tour and learn some history about these caves. Hope you can join us. 😊
If there is interest afterward, we could maybe go for a walk 🚶♀️around one of the nearby lakes and/or trails. We are in St. Paul afterall, and there are many nice parks and lakes nearby. 🏞🌞
But of course, for those who are interested. It is not a requirement. 😄
