The party continued following the dark passageways in the Crone dungeon, eventually coming to a large cavern w/ webs and cocoons about it. Seeing one of the cocoons move, the party moves in and cuts it open. Inside they find a lady wizard. Almost immediately, the group is ambushed by a huge spider looking creature. Although they lost two party members in the combat, including the paladin who had been there since the beginning, they did finally kill it.

It started with a snowstorm in the middle of a hot summer in the country of Taldor. Initially sent out to find a kidnapped noble woman, they eventually found a portal that appeared to be the source of the weather. As they finished killing off the last guardian, a dark figure rode through the portal, then slumped to the ground. Tending to him, the party found out he is the Black Rider of Baba Yaga. Her other two Riders, the White and the Red, had already been killed and Baba Yaga herself has been captured. Her daughter, Elvanna, the current queen of Irrisen has a hand in it, and now without her mother to curtail her, Elvanna intends to cover all of Golarian in a never ending winter. The Black Rider tasks you to take these two keys, which are a plague mask and a lock from a frost giant's beard, and get them to Baba Yaga's traveling hut to track her down and rescue her. He then slits his own throat covering the party and the keys in his blood.
Going through the portal lands them in Irrisen, far to the north of where they were. After a small adventure where they infiltrate a tower to shut down several portals, including the one leading to Taldor, and stopping the winter weather from affecting those locations, they head to the capital, where the hut is being held. They eventually get to it and throw the keys into the cauldron and stirring it. That seems to take them to a new location as the interior of the hut also changes.
After completing the trials of three crows, who give clues that indicates that while Baba Yaga is not here, they are near a place where two more keys can be found. Stepping outside they find they are even further north than Irrisen, in the land of Iobaria. A centaur clan finds them and after a discussion, sends them off to a trio of mile high statues that may have something to do with Baba Yaga. Entering the statue of the Maiden, the party has traveled through several passages, fought a few creatures and ended up where they currently are.
