This is a bit of a departure for our group, so please respond in your RSVP with: heavy game(s) or genres you'd like to play; have you played it/them before? can you bring a game? can you teach it? As people respond, I'll post a list of games; hopefully we can match people with game tables before the event starts. NOTE: A request for those who want to play game X but haven't played before: please watch a how-to-play video and/or download and read the rules before attending.
We’ll meet at the Milwood branch of the Austin Public Library, in northwest Austin, at 12500 Amherst Dr, off Parmer/MoPac. It's an accessible meeting room with lots of space, good natural light, and a door we can close. There's plenty of free parking, including four spots for EV charging at the west end of the lot.
We'll start at 12:00 noon and play till the library closes (well, actually till 4:45), so four and a half hours plus breakdown. This should give us time for most games short of long 18xxs and Twilight Imperium (sorry, TI fans). See you there!
P.S. Please, no food in the meeting room—so be sure to grab lunch before you arrive. We don't want you to be hangry! Beverages in spill-proof containers are fine.
