It is a good time to explore Bangkrachao. We will hiking around the green lung of Bangkok. Bangkrachao is one of those wonderful places of greenery, surrounded by the concrete jungle of Bangkok and Samut Prakan. It is becoming more and more under presure from realtors who want to build highrises, and in a few years this gem could look completely different. That's why we thought now would be a good time to visit.
We meet at the BTS Chongnonsi. Then we take the BRT and ferry to Wat Bangkracho at Prapadeang. Then we start hiking from there. For those of you who have been on earlier trips, you know that we usually enjoy the off-the-beaten-path, though in general that might be tricky here, since at many sections there is only one path, and off that beaten path means stuck in the mud :). Then we will finish at Bangnampueng floating market where we will have lunch before get back to town.
For this trip you might well be in the sun for long period of time, and so covering shoulders is recommended, as well as a cap/hat! Total hiking distance is about 6-7 km. but leisurely walk.
Please arrange 350 THB at the start of the tour which is included your guide, bus, ferry and songteaw. Additional costs on this trip will be the BRT (not much) and personal (food/drink) purchases are excluded.
Cheers (:-
