While talking isn't forbidden, please respect dancers tuned into the music and their own flow. Take your conversations outside of the dance space.
Ask for consent and give people space before engaging since many attendees take COVID precautions.
Pro Tips: Bring your own blanket, snacks, and maybe even an offering to the community.

DJ: Dr. Twinkle Fingers
Dr. Twinkle Fingers (Jesse Morris) has a deep love affair with dance and electronic music. Starting with clubs, festivals and the early days of ecstatic dance, he found himself at home on the dance floor. After 20 years as a dancer, Jesse has stepped into his dream of serving the conscious dance community as a DJ.

He crafts dance journeys to help dancers feel and express the complex beauty of being a human. From vulnerable and tender to wild and exuberant, he invites dancers into deeper connection with themselves. His sets include a spectrum of genres including organic downtempo, latin, trap, and house all handpicked to inspire dancers to move and be moved.

Contact Improv: Karl Frost
Karl is particularly known for his work in the art of Contact Improvisation, where he has a reputation as a very clear, wide ranging, and richly informative teacher and as a physically articulate master of the practice, comfortable in both the small and subtle explorations and in the wild and explosive. Many students have profoundly evolved their practice of contact improvisation through his workshops, which provide a friendly, yet disciplined and down-to-earth atmosphere of study, growth, and pleasure in life. He is uncompromisingly devoted to the idea that one’s practice of contact should be one that actively promotes physical well-being. His approach to contact improvisation lives both in the realm of art and in that of contact as social practice.

Ecstatic Dance is a Freeform Conscious Dance, Mixed by a Seasoned DJ for a Continuous Sonic Journey. Move however you wish, without verbal guidance, shoes, or booze. Music will flow through various Tempos, Genres, Intensities, and Emotions, so that Dancers may Experience, Express, and Transform their own Energies on the Dancefloor Together.
