Hello All,
For May we will read Jane Austen's unfinished novel The Watsons. Abigail, our resident Watsons expert will be giving us an in-depth talk on the novel. I am really looking forward to it.
Looking forward, for June Catherine suggested three books and we chose The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Brontë. We will meet on Tuesday, June 24th. For July Kelly has suggested the following three books; The Clergyman's Wife by Molly Greenley, The Other Bennet Sister by Janice Hadlow, and A Truth Universally Acknowledged: 40 Days with Jane Austen by Rachel Mann. We will choose at our next meeting. Our July meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 15th. Finally, August is our next Jane Austen read which will be Persuasion, the date has not been determined.
FYI, the miniseries Miss Austen is scheduled to air on PBS on Sunday, May 4th.
