Hello there! Excited about big data and machine learning but overwhelmed by the breadth of material to learn? Our group will be focused on learning together through online courses like Datacamp.com and others. We will also be posting data science internship/job openings and resources/advice to help you focus your efforts! Want to compete in a Kaggle data science competition? You may be a badass at data visualization... but not much more. How about teaming up with "Alice" who just learned about data cleaning using Pandas and "Bob" who just learned about neural network using Tensorflow. PERFECT TEAM! That's the kind of thing we hope to facilitate with this meetup. Little previous experience required. Just a desire to learn :)
