What we’re about

This group was created to introduce some of many trails and water features of Big East Fork Valley to the Franklin (and nearby communities). Only eight miles north of Franklin Square and 20 miles southwest of Nashville, this watershed that drains into this eastern fork of the South Harpeth River is a true gem, a slice of heaven through Williamson County. It deserves the admiration and care of fellow nature lovers. Although the 1400 acres of woods, meadows, and creek in this Conservation Easement are protected forever, it needs to be shared and maintained by those of us blessed by her charms.

Members of this group are expected to keep the land green, clean, and they must not be mean. The group in turn provides fellowship, education, and hikes of various exertion to its members. Breakfast is available at the Big East Fork Retreat. See cssfamily.org
