Tasting Spanish red wines is a sensory journey through the diverse regions of Spain, each offering its own unique expression of flavor. From the bold and structured Tempranillo of Rioja, with its rich fruit and earthy notes, to the vibrant Garnacha of Priorat, which bursts with berry flavors and subtle spice, and the distinct Monastrell from Valencia, known for its deep, dark fruit flavors and velvety tannins, Spanish reds are known for their depth and complexity. Whether aged in oak or fresh and fruity, these wines offer a balance of acidity, tannins, and vibrant character, making them a delightful experience for any wine enthusiast.
Join us as Jyoti prepares for a summer in Valencia. Danielle will co-host.
Please bring a bottle of Spanish red in a paper wine bag, 4 glasses, and an appetizer or dessert to share. While it would be great to have a Spanish-inspired spread of tapas, many other cuisines would pair well with the reds too! Please bring real food to share, so we can have a nice selection that pairs well.
Location will be at Jyoti's home in Newton (address to be shared the day before). There is ample street parking, a bus stop 52/Centre St within a short walk, and the Newton Centre T stop about 1 mile away.
Make sure you adjust your privacy settings for the Boston Blind Wine Tasting group in order to receive details. We will also post cell numbers too in the email in case you need to contact us directly.
