I'm Samuel Khan, one of the hosts for Board Game & Brews. Since some of you have requested weekend board game events, I wanted to boost visibility on South Florida Board Gamers’ partnership with Tower of Games to host an all day board game event on the third Saturday of each month. The next event takes place on Aug 16th at noon, so come join us to play some board games and enjoy the lovely atmosphere, along with great deals at Tower of Games!

Tower will offer their outstanding Saturday promotion - buy one board game and get a second one at half price - as well as a fantastic second-hand board game library where you can purchase used games. They will also buy used games, in case you want to add to their collection.

Additionally, if you want to play with any of their used games, there's only a $2 fee per person for all-day access. I recommend this option for anyone looking to learn and play new games. If you decide to buy a used game, the $2 will be deducted from your purchase.

We will be sharing this space with their One Piece and Star Wars TCG event at 2:00 PM, which will take up some of the table space. However, there are semi-private D&D booths, which can comfortably seat four people and reasonably seat up to six. If everyone is okay getting close together, we can even try a bigger game like Secret Hitler (although I’ve never attempted it, not out of shame but because my copy lives in Pompano).

I have a prior engagement in the evening and will be leaving around 6:00PM, however their event officially ends at 9:00PM, and Tower will be open until 11:00PM.

We hope to see you there for a chance to meet new people and learn about all the wonderful board game events happening in South Florida!
