Brodyaga / Russian adventure group

Boston Brodyaga group invites you to their traditional spring hike to Mt. Washington via the Ammonoosuc-Jewell Loop. This route is not technical but requires good physical condition (total 10 miles with a 4,200 ft elevation gain). Full winter gear will be required.

Trails and pace will be moderate.

We will do a loop hike visiting several vistas including Sugarloaf Hill with a great view on Hudson River and will have a lunch stop at Curry Pond.

For those who register but do not want to stay with us the whole route I will appreciate if you let me know well ahead of time. The hike happens only if there are people hiking the whole route. Otherwise it will be like leaving somebody alone in the wild or forcing to finish early that makes long drive not worth it and waste of time.

I limit the size of the group to 10 as it is hard to care for a larger group. I will kindly ask those who register to stay with the group. Those who do not want to stay with the group are welcome to join us but, please, do not register and we consider you to be on your own.

Please, be at the parking lot by 9am. Cell phone connection may be not available. Please, give yourself enough time to get there - we will get on the trail in time to be back in time and still have daylight time in reserve.

BEFORE LEAVING YOUR HOME, please , check this announcement for last minute cancellation (anything could happen) And if you register, please, be responsive to my messages regarding your attendance

Bring hiking boots, at least 2 quarts of water, snack/lunch, layers, rain gear etc.

Мы по прежнему катаемся на Цессне по нашим окрестностям в Нью Джерси, Пенсильвании и Нью Йорке в погожие дни. Полёт с посадками занимает около двух часов.

Если кто-то захочет попробовать управлять самолетом, то я дам порулить.

Цессна-150 - двух-местный самолет, то есть пилот и один пассажир. Поэтому я ограничиваю количество соучастников до 2 и прошу отнестись с вниманием к участию в ивенте. Если вы записались и передумали, то отпишитесь своевременно. Тем не менее, кто не успел в этот раз - не огорчайтесь. Будут еще полёты.

Это бесплатно, надо лишь участвовать в расходах на авиационный бензин.
Встречаемся за жёлтым камнем. Жёлтый камень на фотографии. На фотографии я отметил место парковки. Если меня нету - звоните.

Теперь о требованиях:
1. Надо сообщить заранее свой служебный вес. Это нужно не праздного любопытства ради, а учёта загрузки и балансировки самолета для.
2. За несколько дней до ивента я сообщу всем соучастникам свой номер телефона и хочу получить от вас текст подтверждения вашего участия и вес, ваш и вашей поклажи, если таковая будет.
3. Если кто-либо не сообщит свой вес в течении двух дней, то полет у этого соучастника может быть отложен до следующего раза. На это место будет приглашен соучастник из листа ожидания.

Кроме того, хочу обратить внимание соучастников, вот на что. Авиация зависит от погоды, поэтому ивент может быть отложен или перенесен по погодным условиям. Обычно мне известен прогноз достаточно точно за три дня заранее, но надо иметь в виду возможность внезапных изменений буквально накануне.

Напоминаю соучастникам о важности соблюдения правил безопасности на территории аэродрома. Практически все самолёты в нашем аэропорту оборудованы пропеллерами. ПРОПЕЛЛЕР ЗАРУБАЕТ НАСМЕРТЬ! СОБЛЮДАЙТЕ ПРАВИЛА БЕЗОПАСНОСТИ, ЭТО ОЧЕНЬ ВАЖНО. Эти правила просты:
1. Не выходите на лётное поле без приглашения и сопровождения.
2. На посадку в самолёт подходите со стороны хвоста и выходите из самолёта в сторону хвоста. Пассажирская дверь справа.
3. Если что-то непонятно - спросите.
