The Bay Area has been missing a good fun and safe environment for Christian Singles to meet, do activities and dance. DJ Nix and I used to go to a lot of dances and events put on by the Christian Singles Newsletter and other organizations years back and had met many new friends. We've decided to put together both of our gifts and talents to bring back that passion that God gave us, and that's to create a fun and safe environment to dance and meet other Christian Singles. We have created PG (Praising God) Productions to provide the events here in the Bay Area. And now that I've moved to SoCal, we are expanding our events to include those in NorCal and SoCal.
Our intent is to hold or promote at least one dance or activity event a month at a location that is located around the Bay Area and have a couple of outdoor activities around Northern and Southern California. We will also join other Christian Organizations such as Cornerstone in their events. But we need your input and assistance to spread the word and give us your ideas to make the overall experience pleasing to God. We also plan to have more than just a dance, we may include dance lessons, local Christian Musicians, kayaking, hiking , biking and other activities.
This group is for Christian Singles of all ages, but we find the largest population to be 35 to 55. So if you love to dance, get outdoors and meet other people who are equally yoked, this group is for you. Join the fun and you'll be glad you did!

I hope you’ll be joining us online Friday as we discuss last weekend’s message “Small Group Launch Weekend.” If you’re not able to but are free in person this Sunday, join us in San Jose for our in-person worship service, communion, Brunch and Talk It Over, Binge-Watching The Chosen, and Movie Time: The Forge. Since it’ll be a long day, don’t feel you have to make it to all events—feel free to choose which ones fit your schedule.
As you review last weekend’s sermon for our small group time, you might be wondering what Saddleback’s new approach means for us. Basically, nothing is changing. We will still meet each week, going over the Talk It Over notes or other topics if the interest is there (we do have more studies now available), or if Saddleback has a special focus they want us to consider for a few weeks like the Immersion studies we’ve used earlier in the year and last year. As before, the only person that must be a member of Saddleback Church is myself—there is no extra commitment requested or required of you, and anyone who says otherwise doesn’t speak for Saddleback Church.
Saddleback Church has a number of other ministry events that may be of interest to you that we’ve listed on our website. If you want to get together in person, we have a number of members in Silicon Valley and Orange County who would love to connect for coffee, dinner, or other times of fellowship.
Another way to connect is Mighty Networks, which Saddleback Online Community Pastor Charissa Goulard describes as our Online Community patio space to connect between worship services, providing different areas to engage with people, and even allow private messaging with others.
Don’t forget to pray for your One Life (一生之久). Anytime we meet is a great time to invite him or her to our small group. While newcomers are always welcome to participate, they are just as free to sit back and listen. Please feel free to forward our small group meeting details to those who might be interested.

WHAT TO EXPECT
After introducing any newcomers, we will begin the Bible study at 7:05 pm, finishing up around 8:30 pm. Please be respectful of others’ time and join on time so we can finish on time, and if anyone is up for it, we will chat afterwards. It helps to keep your video on for visual cues to know if you’re ready to share, but first timers can just hang back and soak it in.Please look over the materials for the week. If you don’t have time to go over everything, that’s fine; often the discussion questions work well on their own, but sometimes they will require quite a bit of introspection—HOMEWORK, as I like to say! If you love to share a lot, please allow others time to share as well. If you’re one who doesn’t share that much, please feel free to jump in; we’d love to hear your thoughts.

Ready for dance lessons and a night of ballroom dancing? At 8:00 pm, Starlite Ballroom in San Jose is hosting beginner and intermediate lessons till 8:45 pm. At 9:00 pm until midnight, the floor will be open for dancing. If you're not sure which dance goes with each song, the roster is presented so you can be ready before each song. Price at the door is $15 for the class and party or $12 for the party only.
Interested in earlier lessons? A beginner lesson consisting of two dances is also available from 7:00 pm to 7:55 pm. For both lessons and the party, admission is $25.
