What we’re about
It’s been over two years of sheltering at home. It is now time to meet, talk, connect and make new friends. It would be great to have friends to talk to, to eat with and enjoy other leisure activities together. Feel free to come out, have a conversation, exchange phone numbers (encouraged, but not required) and let’s socialize and feel normal again!
This group is about meeting young professionals in the Capital Region who are looking to make actual friends. We will have events like coffee shop gatherings, ice cream socials, bar nights, picnics, walks, potlucks, etc. Definitely join if this sounds interesting to you. Come enjoy fun, conversation and friendship.
**Event Cancellations**
Outdoor events will be canceled due to inclement weather including rain, snow, or thunderstorms. Events will be canceled if there is not enough interest for an event (50% of the total allowed guests).
**No Show Policy**
If you RSVP that you are attending an event and do not change your status to not going or post a message stating a change of plans, you may be subject to removal from the group after 3 no shows.
**COVID-19 Precautions**
This group follows CDC, federal and state guidelines regarding COVID-19 and COVID-19 precautions. Masks are encouraged, but not required unless a specific vendor or establishment requires them. In an effort to protect members from COVID-19 and other illnesses, please stay home if you are feeling unwell.

WHAT IT MEANS TO RSVP
When you RSVP "yes" to this event, you are saying you want to join our team at this trivia event, and we will include you in our head count when reserving a table. Often this means we are asking the restaurant to make special accommodations for our large group. When you RSVP "yes" but do not show up, our group takes up extra space that we do not need, that could be used to serve other guests. Our empty seats cost the restaurant and our server (potentially hundreds of dollars of) real money in lost sales, and means that other teams that want to play trivia may not be able to get a table. So, if you cannot attend but leave your RSVP on "yes" you are being disrespectful to our team, our server, and our venue. If you promptly update your RSVP to "no" when you realize you won't make it, we will miss you but we will understand. If you are running late or are unsure if you will be able to attend, please comment or message us so we can plan accordingly. Finally, these trivia events are otherwise open to the public, so if you decide to attend with a different team, please change your RSVP to "no," so we can adjust our team's reservation.
