What's the plan?

This week we've chosen a members suggestion for the group to watch and discuss.

The event will go as follows,

• Rent the film using one of the available streaming services and watch in your own time(This is not a watch party).
• At 8.30pm (GMT) the Zoom call will start so we can have a chat about the film (The password to the zoom is Filmgroup)

Members are welcome to suggest future films to watch.

Movie title: Vera Drake

Synopsis: Vera Drake is a selfless working woman who leads a peaceful life with her family. However, her hidden secret puts her loved ones on the verge of danger.

N.B The scheduled film may be subject to change depending on cancellation of screening, availability of host or at the request of a Film Group member.

These Saturday meet-up events are held for those who cannot make it to Cardiff midweek. They follow the same format of a film and a visit to a pub/restaurant afterwards for food/drinks and to discuss the film.

We will start meeting up by the snack bar on the first floor half an hour before showtime.

A link to the Cineworld Cardiff showtimes will be posted in the comments after the weekend showtimes are published, with the film decided by a vote of interested attendees. Suggestions can still be provided before then.

I will try to hold these events on a monthly basis, but sometimes my personal life gets in the way; I'll let you know of any cancellations or other updates.
