Set in a small village in rural Russia, Fiddler on the Roof tells the story of Tevye, the guide and narrator, who has five daughters refusing to follow the Jewish customs of matchmakers choosing their husbands. Three of them defy his expectations by falling in love with unsuitable men, one of whom is not a Jew. Due to the existing anti-Jewish demonstrations and sentiments within their community, Tevye's family is forced to leave. Throughout the story, Tevye reflects on his faith and struggles to reconcile it with the societal changes surrounding him.

I DON'T KNOW IF ANYONE ELSE FROM THE C.C. SOCIALIZER GROUP WOULD BE INTERESTED IN JOINING US. THERE AREN'T THAT MANY GOOD SEATS LEFT. ALL IN THE BACK THIRD OF THE C.C. COMMUNITY CENTER, ON THE OUTER THIRD OF THE SIDE AISLES OR VERY BACK ROW CENTER. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO MAKE AN INVITE ON MEETUP, SO IF YOU THINK ANY OTHER MEMBERS WOULD BE INTERESTED IN JOINING US, THAT WOULD BE GREAT.

Several of us in the group have been doing this race since 2016. It gives us an excuse to eat more turkey later in the day!

Be aware. The start of the race normally is very COLD so be prepared.
