What we’re about
The Center for Spiritual Living, Simi Valley is a spiritual community where you are encouraged to find and live from your authentic self. We honor the many paths to God; for while there are many names and paths, we believe they ultimately all lead to the same Infinite Spirit. Our spiritual community draws its core beliefs from the Science of Mind written by Dr. Ernest Holmes. Our teaching embodies spiritual principles found in the philosophies of the east and the west, including Buddhism and Hinduism, Christianity, Judaism, and other theological teachings, plus science, philosophy and psychology. At the Center, you will find community, connection, spiritual education, support, and a loving, vibrant, and diverse group of people.
Join us at Center for Spiritual Living, Simi Valley for our community EVERY 3RD FRIDAY NIGHT spiritual drum circle led by renowned facilitator, Burl Bolerjack. Rhythm is a universal language known to every one, even the youngest child, if we can just "remember." So in a very objective, yet beautiful way, an interactive rhythm event puts us all on an equal footing with each other and brings us closer together. Burl Bolerjack retired from engineering in 2007, and is on the Board of Directors with Spiritual Unity Movement since the late 1990’s.
Burl has been leading several meditative drum circles each month for the past 15 years and is passionate about sharing this powerfully soothing spiritual group practice.
