This is a group for people who share the belief that all living things deserve to be treated with respect and compassion.
Let's see how many of us there are in the Central Maine area and go from there. I have no specific goals other than getting a few fellow vegans together.
My thought is to have most meetups in the region from Augusta to Brunswick, though nothing is off the table (except animals, of course) and all are welcome. There are a number of local businesses that have vegan items on the menu and I think it would be great to have meetups at these places to support them as thanks for thinking of us. If nothing else we could just grab a quick beer somewhere if people are up for that. I'm open to any ideas so if you have any please speak up.
