This is a free-wheeling, assortment of acts from the talented folks at SALT Theatre. From its website:

All tickets are general admission, so let's plan to get there at 6:45 p.m. to increase the chance of sitting together.
Note: This is SALT's theatre in West Chester (not Chester Springs), south of the borough. Hagerty Blvd. is off of S. Matlack St., and is an industrial park, so it's a bit tricky to find. They also collect food for the WC Food Cupboard during each show, if you are so inclined.

Are you interested in Chinese New Year custom?? It’s the year of Snake! I will share my culture with you and explain what and why those custom exists, like fireworks, red bags, gambling, etc.

Further, I will introduce you the famous authentic Chinese New Year meals. The menu absolutely doesn’t include General Tso Chickens, haha… In stead you are invited to have a treat for a set of authentic Chinese New Year meals. Each dish has a special name with a blessing meaning for the coming new year. Make sure you starve yourself before you come! It’s our tradition to have a lot of great meals for this special day!!

The last, one of you will walk out with a special surprise to symbolize you are having a lucky year!!!

By the way, the restaurant will be 15 minutes the most away from Exton/West Chester. Currently, I’m reviewing the menu with the owners of two restaurants. It probably will be BYOB. I got a special rate of $10 per person. If you have $10 to spare, you are more than welcome to celebrate Chinese New Year with me!!!

Volunteer or just attend! Volunteers enjoy free admission, volunteer t-shirts, food, freedom to explore, great views of the airplane and antique cars, and best seats at the fireworks display.

More details to follow as it gets closer. This was always held on a weekday evening. This is the first time it is a two day weekend event. I’m sure it’s possible to volunteer either or both days depending.
