Life is too short to be anything but happy. Tomorrow is never guaranteed so lets get out and live a little. This group is for anyone who wants to get out and have fun and meet new people. Summer is approaching which means concerts, festivals, cookouts, drinks on the patio, anything outdoors. There isn't much we won't try at least once so feel free to make suggestions on meet up ideas. This musical event recounts a musician's own international journey as a professional symphonic flutist and soloist. Enjoy this visual and musical voyage, as Ms. Calvey shares her international adventures, playing graceful melodies designed to transport you to distant lands. She will encourage the audience to participate and share their own stories of travel experiences. A question-and-answer period will follow her performance.
Katherine Calvey is a professional classical flutist/international musician who has performed in over 18 countries and is now a local music teacher.
