• After we eat, drink, and socialize, we’ll head into the stands.
Not into racing🍻Come for the drinks, stay for the wrecks!
• Find us far left, along fence, in front of sidewalk spots 58 & 59
• Late Models, Thunder Cars, compacts, and a wet and wild Enduro. Water balloon madness. I have over 1,000 water balloons we’ll get to throw at the very last race! 💦🎯

We will play OUTSIDE, weather permitting. If the weather is adverse, I will change the location to an indoor facility.

New Session Cost is $10 for Columbus recreation centers Pickle Ball pass good for ALL Columbus recreation centers until May 24, 2025. Many players have been only paying $1 each time they show up. The $1 charge is only good for the first time you play pickle ball at the rec center. After this, you must sign up and get the pass for $10. All repeat Pickle Ball players must get the pass.

I have some extra pickle ball paddles and balls if you don’t have one. Definitely bring your own paddle if you have one and bring some balls if you have them.

LOCAL CANTINA 743 South High St., Columbus.

This is the Dinner/Nosh before the theater in Schiller Park, which begins at 8 PM.

This is a great opportunity to meet everyone and to talk before the theater.

EMMA by Kate Hamill adapted from the novel by Jane Austin.

Actors Theatre of Columbus is presenting a free production of Emma by Jane Austin at 8 PM.

Emma is a fresh, wildly funny, feminist, take on Jane Austen’s beloved heroine. Emma is too clever for her own good: she decides to find the perfect romantic match for everyone around her, but can’t find a partner for herself. Captures Austin’s wit, language, and flirtatious charm in a romantic comedy for all.

The theater production begins at 8 PM in Schiller Park.

At 6 PM, we will meet for dinner or a snack at local Cantina 743 South High St. before the theater. This is a great opportunity to chat and meet each each other and get to know each other. I find that audience members don’t like a lot of cross talking during the theater production.

I will post each separately so that we can get a more accurate count for each. There is no requirement that you attend both, of course. But I would encourage you to attend the dinner beforehand, as I think it will afford you better opportunities to meet others and get to know new and former friends better.

Bring a chair or a blanket to sit on.
