About These Bible Studies
If you are interested in learning more about God's Word with other like minded people, you should join one of our weekly Bible studies. We welcome all visitors regardless of experience level or Bible knowledge. Our goal is to discuss God's truth and encourage each other to apply it in our everyday lives. Please join us as we search the Scriptures together!
About God's Word
You should know that the Bible is not one book, but actually a collection of many books. Most of our modern Bibles contain 66 books (39 old testament books and 27 new testament books) which have long been recognized as Holy Scriptures. In other words, these books claim to be written by men through the inspiration of God's Holy Spirit. This entire collection of books was written by about 40 different divinely inspired authors over a period of 1,500 years. The last book was written around 2,000 years ago.
About Us
How can such an old collection of books help teach us truth about God? The Bible itself says, "For I the LORD do not change" (Malachi 3:6) and "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever" (Hebrews 13:8). What was true about God and Jesus 2,000 years ago is still true today. Therefore, we still need to study these same Scriptures in order to know God and His plan for our salvation through His Son Jesus Christ.
