Nothing beats January blues to look forward to a camping trip in the Summer time.
The main attraction for this weekend away is the Blasket island. The Blasket Island is beautiful island with its deep history to it's wild colonial of seals. Of course this is where Peig Seyers lived in her later years. Now there only one shop on The island so I would recommend bringing good bit of food and drink with you. Also there is one hostel two and sells out pretty quick. I would recommend bringing a tent. As no one lives on the island we can have bit music going on in the campsite.
I always like to plan my trips away good in advice. Also would advise people who are camping and getting accommodation in Dingle to book, As soon as possible. Dingle would very popular spot in Summer and accommodation can be hard to get.
So here my plan for this weekend.
Friday: Come down to Dingle town and camp at the rainbow hostel. We will go out in town and see if any live music going on any pub. Really just chill out
Saturday: Get good breakfast in the town. Bring any essentials for the wild camping. Land on the Blasket island around 12ish. Set up tent. We can go for hike if people up for it.
Sunday: We will go for hike on the island and return to Dingle in the evening. If people are interested on staying Dingle extra night we can accommodate them.
There will be WhatsApp group set up for this weekend.
I hope to see you at it. I promise you it not one you should not miss out of.
