Are you trying to learn to line dance, country partner dance, or looking for people who like country music and bar outings, or someone to hit the occasional country music concerts with? Well you've come to the right group! Social dancing is a great way to meet new people, work off that Whiskey in the Water, and have a good time. Singles and couples are welcome. No experience necessary.

The fun continues at the fabulous Dance Headquarters on Friday, January 17!
Warm up: 6:30-7:00
Country Two-Step Lesson: 7:00-8:00 with UCWDC World Champions David Walkup and Trish Connery Walkup
Social Dancing 8:00-10:00 with DJ JodyConfirmed: This month we're in the larger (East) Ballroom!
Expect LOTS of Country Two-Step (about 1/3), West Coast Swing (about 1/3), Nightclub Two-Step, Jitterbug, Country Waltz, and a little Cha Cha and Hustle.
We're working on the playlist now and would LOVE to get your input. Please private message me via Facebook or Instagram let me know what you want to dance to.
Cost for the event, including lessons, is just $15 (cash or Venmo) at the door or $12 via Venmo if paid by Thursday night, 01/16, or, if you see me in person at another dance, pay me the $12 in cash.

Join Country Two-Step award winner Liza Marians and her partner Mark Pablo for this fun and useful dance class to take your Country Two-Step to the next level. Learn basic patterns and variations as well as connection, leading & following skills, and the basic rhythm of the dance. In 2025 we're adding in some fun & easy country swing to help you be versatile. All levels welcome; we've got something for everyone! $17 per class or $60 for any 4 classes, which don't have to be consecutive. The space is huge with a wood floor and air conditioning! - Beginning West Coast SwingVernetta's Dance Studio, San Diego, CA
Come learn one of the most fun, expressive, and highly connected dances out there with All Star West Coast Swing dancer Mark Pablo and his partner Liza Marians. West Coast Swing is very popular in San Diego and beyond with many places to go dancing. It can be done to pop, R&B, blues, country, hip hop, oldies, rock, and more. We will teach fundamentals of swing connection, turn technique, leading, following, and a variety of useful patterns to use on the social dance floor. All levels welcome; we've got something for everyone! Most of the students have been in the class for a while, but we always welcome newcomers and can catch you up with the basics. $17 per class or $60 for 4 classes, which don't have to be consecutive.
