WELCOME to the CULTURED EVENTS GROUP!! Do you enjoy meeting others who are interested in exploring a wide variety of cultural (or not so cultural) experiences? Do you sometimes forego attending social or cultural events because you don't have someone to share it with? Well, look no further . . . . .
CULTURED EVENTS GROUP is one of the largest and most active Meetup groups in the Colorado Springs area. This means you will meet a VARIETY of people at a VARIETY of events.
This Meetup group is designed to get adults together for a medley of social activities. There is no pre-set determination on what constitutes "cultured." We may get together to see concerts, plays, musicals, experience a variety of ethnic foods, enjoy a wine or craft beer tasting, go to an art gallery, see a movie, etc.! It's mostly about getting out and meeting new people and learning new things as we go. If you would like to broaden your horizons, then this is the group for you!
Because this is an ADULT SOCIAL group, we’re not going to burden the members with a long list of “rules” - we do have one that we expect everyone to follow "IF YOU SIGN UP - SHOW UP".
These are our basic guidelines:
When applying for membership, give complete answers to ALL the questions and as your MAIN profile image post (and KEEP posted) a RECENT, CLEAR photo of your face.
Only RSVP “YES” to events when you’re reasonably sure you can attend – there are no “Maybe’s” or “Saving a Spot”.
Change your RSVP as soon as you realize you’re unable to attend - dropouts 24 hours or less (48 hours or less for reserved seating events) before an event starts ARE counted as a No-Show.
Guests at events (when allowed) should be an adult.
This is not an online dating site – anyone using it as such will be promptly removed and banned. Members who frequently log into the group but never attend events and/or those who e-mail members that they have never met are subject to this rule.
Be courteous and considerate to the organizers, event hosts, and your fellow members.
Advertising or solicitation of services or products for sale is NOT ALLOWED.
Members who have not attended an event in over a year are subject to removal for inactivity.
Anyone who is unwilling to follow these simple guidelines will be removed and banned from future membership.
