*This part isn't actually necessary.
We meet on the first Wednesday of each month at Maritimo Lounge in Ocean Village, Southampton. Each month we will semi-randomly pick a book from a list provided by...you! We vote for the next month's book at the end of each meeting. If you'd like to suggest books to read, head to our very own Curious BookMonkeys web page at THIS HERE LINK:

You need to join the book club (it's free and they don't send you loads of spam, so don't worry), then once you're in, you'll see the 'Books We Want To Read' link over on the left. Click there and commence recommending! Just a couple of teeny rules: Try not to pick suuuper long books (I'll probably remove anything over about 400 pages) and make sure you're picking single books, not a whole trilogy/series (though the first book of a series is fine).
Small but important note: All views are valid. People are allowed to like or dislike any book. So...bear that in mind when you suggest books - we'd love to read books you love, but maybe think twice about suggesting a book if it would break your heart to hear people say not-delighted things about it.
