Welcome to the Dayton Hikers group! We are a community of people who enjoy hiking and outdoor activities. Joining Dayton Hikers is fast, free and easy. We don’t have dues, meetings, officers or a newsletter.
Come hike with us and meet other people who share a love for hiking! All interested people are welcome to join whether you are a beginner hiker or a seasoned backpacker. Most members are from the Dayton region but anyone is welcome to join.

See all- Hike and HIIT on Creekside Trail!E J Nutter Park, Beavercreek , OH
Starting point is E.J. Nutter Park. We'll begin with a HIIT workout before heading out for a 3 mile hike on a combination of paved bike path and Creekside Reserve Trail. Along the way, we'll stop for a fitness boost (jacks, squats and the like.) All fitness levels welcome. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing.

No pets, please. One guest permitted.

Cleanup for Earth Day!
BCWA is joining forces with the City of Fairborn to clean up James P. Amon Biodiversity Reserve, 2050 New German Trebein Road.
Join us during your lunch break on Monday, April 21 (Yes, the day BEFORE Earth Day) from 11:00am until 1:00pm. Help us make our community green. Earth will thank you!
Gloves and trash bags are provided.
All volunteers must sign the BCWA liability waiver. If you have not signed it for 2025, please Submit Yours Online.
