What we’re about
This group is for those who love to play games. Board games, card games, family games, party games, computer games, role-playing games, and everything in between, with the possible exception of children's games. We welcome anyone who is mature, regardless of their actual age; we are NOT baby-sitters. We play some serious games, but we're not "serious gamers". That is, we are more concerned with having an enjoyable time together, having some munchies, and being friends than we are with who is winning or losing.
Some of our events are held in public locations, and therefore may be joined by anyone passing by. We love curiosity seekers who just want to pass a couple hours. Anyone is welcome to join these.
Some of our games will be held at private locations, like someone's home. Most of the time, guests who aren't part of the Meetup.com group are still welcome, but please check the host's description to be sure.
Food is sometimes available; check the description of the individual meetup. Most of the time, you can bring your own snacks, and maybe a little extra for everyone.
Currently there are no "dues", however, there are costs incurred by running this group and we may ask you to contribute a few dollars ($5-10) once in a while to help keep it going.
