The portrait drawing club has been reasonably popular, although we've had an astonishing number of no-shows (you know who you are!)
With the weather starting to be quite pleasant I thought I'd see if we could do the same thing but outside. If it rains I suppose we can try and withdraw to Thrive again but I won't reserve tables this time.
I'll vary the location, but Jesus Green offers us a variety of interesting backdrops: riverside, wildflowers and trees just for starters.
This session will also require everyone to volunteer some time for posing, so that we have a model for roughly four 30 minute sessions each. If you want to do things a bit differently in your group and do two 15 minute poses each or whatever, of course that's fine.
Please meet by the hard tennis courts entrance, and I will use a few playing cards at the beginning to randomly sort us into "pods" of 4 or 5 people each to decide which group you're with.
As usual, I request that everyone show their drawings at the end of the event, if you possibly can. We'll do this at the end, just before 1pm.
If you're wondering about the name of the event, it's a reminder that although we spend a lot of time in this group drawing trees and rivers, we are nature too, we are not separate.
