Do you have a fear of public speaking! Do you lack the confidence to run a meeting? Are you someone who wants to continually improve and up their game? If so, we have the answer for you. Every Saturday morning, the Rising Phoenix Toastmasters Club meets providing all who attend with a congenial atmosphere for you to improve your public speaking skills, learn how to run meetings, and foster self-improvement. Alhough only 1 hour long, it will be one of the best hours of your entire week. There's no cost to attend any of our meetings. It is our hope that after attending a couple of times that you'll see the benefits of the club and decide to join. You'll see that everyone attending is there to not only improve their own skills, but to assist others in doing so, likewise. During most all meetings you'll be provided with an opportunity to participate in an impromptu, half-minute Table Topic discussion which will give you the ability to test your skills in being able to talk for a brief moment on a topic that is suggested for you. In addition, each meeting provides everyone with the opportunity to participate in a variety of other roles including facilitating the meeting, presenting prepared speeches, or evaluating others on their speeches. The overall intent is to try to ensure the involvement of everyone at each and every meeting to ensure that they get the most out of them. We have a great group of active members that meet every Saturday morning from from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the East Cobb Government Center. Visitors are always welcome to join.
