The tour meets outside the exit of Blackfriars *tube* station and starts promptly at 11 a.m.

**Please note that there are two Blackfriars station buildings, one is on the south side of the River Thames and one on the North side.
The tube exit outside which the tour meets is outside the station building on the North side of the River Thames, close to the junction of Queen Victoria Street and Blackfriars Passage.**

Your guide for the tour is Jack The Ripper expert, Lindsay.

The full Jack The Ripper story including the Whitechapel and Spitalfields murders and murder locations. World famous pubs that The Ripper and his victims drank in. Follow the sequence of murders, the investigation and the victims' stories. Learn about the suspects and use your own detective skills to solve the crimes as we take you through a journey into the depths of London's East End.

(This tour will run even if there are only a small number of Meetup members booked on it as there may be some people also on it who have booked through other channels.) Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Don't be afraid..... the Ripper only strikes when you are alone! There is safety in numbers but a murder scene is always around the corner.

Lindsay will use her expertise of the Ripper to give you a full commentary of the murders and of the extreme poverty and deprivation that was a backdrop to the vicious crimes of the world's most infamous serial killer.

You also see multiple crime scene and mortuary photographs during the tour which will enhance your experience.

This walk is informative, entertaining, chilling and scary, a great walking experience as well as an excellent social event.

The tour starts outside London's Aldgate underground station at 7.30 pm. (Please note, NOT Aldgate East which is a different station)

We are all going to have a great time and meet some new friends too. There will be some guests from other channels so please come along even if our Meetup group numbers are small because it will still be great fun and you will meet some new people.

The tour finishes at about 9.30 pm, a few minutes walk from Liverpool Street and Aldgate stations.

Please be aware that some adult themes are included and that there are some gruesome photos and graphic descriptions of crimes.

We also advise parental guidance for under 16s. Under 14s are not permitted on the tour due to its gruesome nature.

If you arrive with anyone under 14, or who looks under 14, and you have no proof of age id for them with you, then they will not be permitted on the tour, even if you insist that as their parent it is okay for them to do so.

Join leading London Horror Tour expert guide and historian Jenny on The Sweeney Todd tour, taking you to the shadowy alleyways off Fleet Street where Sweeney had his notorious barbers shop and Mrs Lovett had her infamous pie shop! Hear the story of how Sweeney chose his victims very carefully, robbed them, murdered them and disposed of their bodies with Mrs Lovett's help! See St Dunstan's church which aided these two to get rid of their victims bodies!

For "The Da Vinci Code" fans, seeing The Temple Church is an added treat as it features in both the book and the film. You will also see the famous and historic "Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese" pub, centuries old, and frequented by some of the world's great writers.
