- Memory Cafe: PoetryElmhurst Public Library, Elmhurst, IL
A Memory Cafe is a welcoming place for a shared experience between individuals with Alzheimer's Diseases, dementia, or other cognitive or memory impairment disorders and their caregivers. Each session focuses on a different topic and may include activities, hands-on crafts, games, music, or educational presentations. The goal is to guide participants through exercises that encourage reminiscing and spark memories.
In April we'll celebrate National Poetry Month with our favorite poems and fun activities to help us create poetry of our own.
