This group is for photography hobbyist to professionals. The only requirements are you have a camera and want to connect with other people that share your photography interest. What type of photography do we shoot? Anything and everything, events, landscapes, street photography, etc... We also have social activities where we can share work, talk about techniques and gear, and come up with ideas for future meetup shoots and projects.

The Fremont Photographic Society continues our popular Show & Tell meeting via Zoom. We invite you to share one photograph with fellow local amateur photographers. No critique. No judging. You can use this time any way you want. Just show a photo you are proud of, or describe what prompted you to make the image, or ask people how they respond to the photo, or show a ‘work in progress’ and asks for suggestions on how to get over a sticking point. This is an opportunity to have an engaging conversation with fellow photographers in a low-key setting.

- Photowalk - Briones Diablo View TrailMission Blvd Park & Ride [FRT], Fremont, CA
Join us for our S3-photowalk this month on as we explore Briones Regional Park.
This will be our last green season hike as the hills are fading to gold...
Meetup: Mission Park and Ride lot at 10:30 AM on Saturday the 17th.
Leave: 11:00 to arrive at the trailhead around 12:00.
Trailhead: Briones Rd Trail. At the end of Briones Rd off Alhambra Valley Rd.
Bring: Camera, lens hood, batteries, memory, hat, snack, appropriate coat.Link to Meetup:

Our route will take us along the Diablo View Trail and loop back on the Alhambra Creek Trail. This roughly 2 mile walk is rated as easy and follows dirt trails with a manageable hill.
We will pass through a beautiful oak forest and descend into the Alhambra Creek valley. If we are lucky, we may encounter some seasonal wildflowers along the creek, though nature is unpredictable this year.
This is a great opportunity to enjoy a scenic walk and capture some natural beauty with your camera.
