Just a bunch of fun people getting together to play flag football. We play on the Colonial Middle School Football Field and the field is great for cleats or just sneakers. All skill levels are welcome and we recommend anyone to come out for fun and exercise.
The games are shared with the Valley Forge Sports Recreation Group and there are no fees for playing.
But with this pandemic, we must say that since this is a sport with contact, you participate at your own risk. We do not know if it is safe or even a good idea to play so soon. We are not recommending it. It is your decision to take that risk.
So for the legalese:
Before participating in a Fun Football Folks event or activity, all participants must read this important notice and agree to the declaration and disclaimer below.
1. The Participant understands that our events and activities are potentially hazardous to those taking part and the Participant does so at his/her own risk;
2. The Participant will not compete in the events and activities unless they are medically fit on the day of the events and activities and that, in any case, they will participate at their own risk.
3. To the extent permitted by law, the Participant accepts that Fun Football Folks, its organizers and the venues we use will not be liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, action, claim, costs or expenses, which may arise in consequence of participation in the events and activities.
4. The Participant shall not make any claim or demand against Fun Football Folks, its organizers or the venues we use for any reason whatsoever including, but not limited to, any claim or demand arising as a result of any action, default, commission or negligence of Fun Football Folks, its organizers, and the venues we use, and to the fullest extent permitted by law the Participant accepts that the Fun Football Folks, its organizers and the venues we use will not be liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, action, claim, costs or expenses, which may arise in consequence of participation in the events and activities.
5. The Participant must comply with all laws in force for the time being and must indemnify and keep Fun Football Folks, its organizers and the venues we use indemnified against any claim or demand arising out of a breach or alleged breach of any law by a Participant.
6. Nothing in these terms of participation shall exclude or limit the liability of Fun Football Folks and its organizers for personal injury due to its negligence or its fraud.
7. The Participant will grant permission to Fun Football Folks and its organizers to use or authorize other bona de agencies to use photographs, motion pictures, recordings, data or any other record of my Participation in their events and activities for any legitimate purpose without remuneration.
8. The Participant will behave in a manner that is acceptable to Fun Football Folks, its organizers, the venues we use, and any persons who may be affected by the participant’s actions and behavior.
