What we’re about
This is a group for ladies who love to read! We mostly read all kinds of fiction, but that's not set in stone. We take turns choosing a book, and then we meet up the following month to talk and discuss. We currently meet at Panera Bread, where we first discuss the book, then often chat about other interests. You do not have to purchase anything, but lots of the members do. We look forward to sharing some great books with you!
We let anyone who has come to more than 3 meetups nominate a book. The only real guidelines to a book nomination is that they are available at the Gwinnett Public Library system (without a super long waiting list--so much super trendy stuff is out, occasionally there is an exception to this). We want everyone to be able to come discuss with us:)
The 3 meetup rule is to make sure if we vote on your nomination, and it wins--you have a greater chance of showing up to discuss your book choice:) In the past, we read someone's suggestion, and they didn't come back to discuss their book (and honestly, didn't see them back again).
We don't expect you to come every month necessarily (it isn't an expectation--as sometimes things happen) but if you RSVP, we do expect to see you. If you find you can't make it unexpectedly, kindly text Hallie and let her know--sometimes we wait on people thinking they are just caught in traffic.
