Looking for something exciting to do? Or just looking for new friends? Well GenYYZ is a group for people in their 20's and 30's who want to do just that! This may be a new group but our leadership team is pretty experienced in setting up some pretty fun and interesting events. We'll do picnic socials, karaoke, foodz, virtual socials, and board game nights just to name a few. If you've got an idea for a meetup, shoot it our way to see if we can make it happen!
NOTE: This is not a dating group. We anticipate that members may organically connect, and there is no problem with that happening. That being said, please do not come to this group with the sole goal of finding a romantic interest. In the interest of keeping GenYYZ a safe and comfortable space, if we suspect that a member is abusing this policy, they will be removed.
=== POLICIES ===
RSVPs
Please keep your RSVP's up to date, especially for in person events. And only show to an event if you are RSVP'd to it. With our current reality, we want to make sure we don't have too many people at an event but also not a lack of people either.
NO SHOWS
If you RSVP to an event, and change your RSVP without notice or explanation less than 12h before the start time, or simply don't show up, then a "No Show" may be added to your account. Organizers may change your RSVP status for future events based on prior No Shows. This policy generally only applies to events with a limited number of space.
BULLYING & HARRASSMENT
Please report any bullying or harassment. We need your help to keep this a safe space, and reporting incidents right after they happen is a great way to weed out people or behaviours. Details on our Harrasment Policy as well as how to report incidents, can be found here.
