What to expect: From the South Trailhead, we take Coyote Song to the North Trailhead, catching the view from Lyons Back in route. We return via Swallow Trail, then explore the pond and rockery shown above. The total trek is an easy 3.3 miles, winding thru picturesque formations, with climbs of only 350 ft each way. The forecast calls for some sun with a high in the 70s.
Bring: weather appropriate gear, personal safety items, extra water, and snacks for the trail and/or after hike picnic. Well behaved dogs with tidy masters on leash are also welcome.
