TYPE: STSP Weekly | PACE: Conversational | TERRAIN: Mostly sidewalk, some grass/dirt trail, some road | DIFFICULTY: some sloping hills | DISTANCE: Approx. 3 mi | COST: Free

Greetings!
I am delighted to host a weekly opportunity for walking through Golden and talking with each other about everything under the (Golden) sun! Come alone or with friends, or to make new friends! Please feel free to “drop-in” anytime.

We will cover a gentle route at a conversational pace with an emphasis on easy movement and pleasant company.

START SPOT CHANGE!!! 1019 10th Street; Golden branch of JCPL.
We will meet at 9:00am at the SECRET GARDEN statue on the Clear Creek Trail from the west parking lot of the Golden branch of JCPL. This statue is of two seated girls wearing turn of last century dress reading the Secret Garden.
We'll make introductions, answer questions and lightly warm up.

Restrooms are in the library which opens at 9am. We'll wait for those who need to use the facilities first. We should be done walking no later than 10:30 am. You can of course leave early if you need to!

Weather: Please come prepared with enough layers and/or protective gear to keep yourself comfortable.

Restroom: The Golden Library has bathrooms and is open at 9am. Parfet Park and Lyons Park have restrooms as well.

Dog Friendly! Please consider whether your dog is calm & well-behaved in a group. S/he MUST stay on a maximum 6' leash; please be sure to bring baggies.
