What we’re about
Welcome to the Google Developer Group for Hampshire and Surrey!
We're about all things Google: Chrome, Android, Polymer, AngularJS, App Engine, Firebase, Cast, AdWords/AdSense/AdMob, Android Pay and more. We're primarily a bunch of developers, so we like the view under the hood, and we're not too shy to take a look at code from time to time.
Anyone interested in any of these technologies is very welcome - whether a seasoned veteran, or if you've no experience whatsoever and are looking for a guiding hand. Often we get an early look at emerging Google technologies.
Typically we meet monthly, a cycle of talks/presentations one month and study jams the next. There's always free food and good chat.
We're the official GDG for the counties of Hampshire and Surrey including the M3 corridor running from Southampton to Staines. We meet at Innovation Centre, Basing View, Basingstoke.
