Wengen is a mountain village in the Bernese Oberland of central Switzerland. Located in the canton of Bern at an elevation of 1,274 m above sea level, it is part of the Jungfrau region and has approximately 1,300 year-round residents, which swells to 5,000 during summer and to 10,000 in the winter. Wengen hosts the classic Lauberhorn ski races of the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup in January. Longest run on world cup circuit.

Our Accommodation will be Wengen , car free resort , or surrounding areas , options of own room , or share .
The Area pass covers all the cable cars of this region and trains , costs in region £280.00 which will also enable us to visit Lakes in valley also. But Local pass can also be bought .
Those who wish to ski cost of equipment for the week will cost £200.00, unless you bring own.
Accommodation is self contained apartment, own rooms on a self catering option.
Those who are not coming by car , can fly to Geneva Airport . where we will take the train outside , with straight connection to Interlaken . where we will change for a train to Lauterbrunnen . cost of Train is about £80 return , earlier this is booked the cheaper the price .
These can be booked through train Line .
There is also be transport from Guildford if you wish join . car share . As such can bring own equipment, we will be leaving on Saturday 8th , with - share petrol.
Evening meals can be cooked in our accommodation , as there is self catering facilities , or we can eat local in the evening ,or in the various restaurants during the day , cater for about £20 per day on food

Each participant will responsible for their own insurance to cover mountain winter sports- strongly suggest appropriate insurance is taken to cover cancellation of Holiday due to illness .
