Come enjoy a refreshing end-of-day sunset walk along Philadelphia’s beautiful Ben Franklin Parkway.
This walk will feature sightseeing and stories, some history, beautiful views, architecture plus a garden. There is a restroom and refreshment stop mid way thru the walk.
The length of the walk, 0.9-miles (about 10 blocks), will be at an easy pace.
We’ll meet at Sister Cities Cafe (located across from The Basilica St. Peter and St Paul.)
We will walk together to the start point - the spraying fountains at Logan Square.
We’ll end just in time to catch the start of sunset magic hour at the steps of Philadelphia Museum of Art after exploring all sides of this building known as Philadelphia’s “Temple of Art.”
Lots of stops for stories in between.
There will be some steps to walk up and down.
You’ll want to wear comfortable shoes.

KEY INFORMATION:
*The walk will begin right on time at 5:30 PM
*To return to the start point of the walk afterwards, you can return by walking (it is a 22-minute straight-line walk back) or by Uber. There is no Phlash bus service past 6 PM along Ben Franklin Boulevard.
*Note: The day of this event will coincide with the day the Museum stays open until 8:30 PM and offers a reduced fee: $15 per person.
