What we’re about
Hopkinton Newcomers Social Club offers community members a way to meet neighbors, build friendships and contribute to the community through a variety of social activities and special events. New and established residents of Hopkinton are welcome. Join us to make new friends in a casual social setting.
The club plans monthly social gatherings for individuals, couples and families. Some of our interest groups have included Book Club, Ladies’ Night Out, Creative Neighbors Craft Group, Bunco, Scrapbooking, Couple's Events, Family Events, Gourmet Group, Around the Town, and a Walking Club. We also have offered Special Events planned by our Social Committee, such as our Annual Wine Tasting and Lobsta’Fest, and occasional community service activities.
HNSC is open to all residents of Hopkinton, Massachusetts, as well as to those with a business affiliation here. So whether you are new to town, or have lived in Hopkinton for years, married or single, with kids or empty nesters...we welcome you to join us!
Note: The Club has been on sabbatical for some time now. We are gearing up to get it running again so committee chairpeople are needed to help plan events. If you enjoy leading small groups, have a craft you'd love to share, or like to organize events, we need your help. Don't be shy! Come check us out!
