What we’re about
If you live in or near the Hudson Valley (NY), are passionate about any and/or all aspects of drone-related endeavors, this group is for you. While the majority of our members are mostly into FPV/racing and/or freestyle, anybody into drones is welcome. This is a casual group, with the only hard and fast rules being 1) no children under 12 at any of our meetups, 2) no flying under the influence, and 3) kids under 16 have to be accompanied by an adult guardian. Our members range from rank beginners to expert pilots; experience level really doesn't matter. So far, we've had several meetups - - all of which consisted of social interaction combined with taking turns flying around my property [edit: we have added a near-regulation size gate course for our FPV members and will be employing that, or a very similar, course at future meetups. In addition, we are in the process of securing a larger, more interesting location for our next meet.]
