No experience or partner required. Note that this Meetup is sponsored by swing experts Linda and Chester Freeman of Got2Lindy Dance Studios, which has thousands of participants in the Hudson Valley. Let’s get moving! This joyful workshop is designed to let you find the music in your movements, and feel the music in your body. Everyone is welcome and no dance experience or partner is needed. This is not about learning steps but about unleashing your inner dancer and reconnecting to the music, others and your own natural rhythm. Be surprised. Be inspired. Be led. Be Followed. Connect.
This workshop is an opportunity to free yourself, reconnect with your inner dancer, and let the music move you. Surprise and delight yourself and you’ll be primed to dance forever.
Note: A swing dance with a live band follows the workshop. All are welcome and a half hour swing dance lesson is taught at 7:30pm. The swing dane and lesson is a separate event and charge from the workshop but the workshop is available for a discount if you register for both the workshop and the dance. Registration is required.
