What we’re about
We are an inter-connected walking, social and volunteering community of thirteen Groups in Kent. We have all age members in our groups, with some aimed at a younger age and some for the retired. Our walks normally range from 4 to 15 miles in length, and mainly cover the countryside of Kent, and the surrounding counties of Surrey and Sussex, as well as organising many holidays further afield.
We have scores of volunteers who join path maintenance teams, survey the paths and undertake detailed legal work and map-based research to ensure changes to the path network are for the benefit of walkers. So come and join us!
Why not join us this weekend on one of our walks?

Why not try walking with us? We don't ask you to pay to join us on your first three walks, although it is essential to have a confirmed RSVP before coming along to our Meetups. Afterwards, in order to continue walking with our group, you must become a paid-up member of the Ramblers (http://www.ramblers.org.uk/get-involved/become-a-member.aspx). The cost of membership is very reasonable and it also includes other benefits. Please then bring your membership card with you on our walks.
