What we’re about

Welcome to Ladies Who Lunch..

This group has been in existence since 2015. Our ladies are from different parts of Cornwall and all enjoy exploring new (and some old favourite) restaurants which have been well researched, accommodating our varied dietary requirements, budgets and locations.

We welcome new members so please come and join us for lunch and a chat.

We have just a couple of requests;-

* That you please contribute £1 per lunch to the cost of the running of the website and

* That you please advise as soon as possible if you are unable to make the lunch. It is important to be able to advise the restaurants at the earliest of our final numbers so that we are not holding up places that could go to others.

* Please do not attend if you or anybody in your household is unwell or has shown symptoms of Covid-19 or has tested positive in the last 10 days.

We look forward to meeting up again soon!

THE CHEF'S TABLE with Chef Adrian Oliver

A Field Kitchen is a mobile kitchen - a Pop UP? a Private Lunch Experience, a Feast night - all of these things and more for 12 guests maximum. A bespoke menu written for you.

Adrian Oliver has lived in Cornwall since 1996. He was the owner of Margot's, an excellent restaurant in Padstow from 1999 until he sold it in 2015.

The Field Kitchen is his new venture. We had an excellent meal there earlier this year so I highly recommend this

In his own words:

'We don't have an amazing view of the harbour. The building is not listed. We have not spent a fortune on interior design.

This is stripped back dining where all our energies go on The Food and The Service. We won't be selling you booze, BYO'.

Below is the menu which I hope you will like.

Ladies Lunch

Bread and butter

Smoked Haddock Chowder
or
Grilled Goat's Cheese tomato salsa

Confit Duck Leg ,mustard mash, sage cream
or
Baked hake fillet , anchovies garlic, new potatoes

Chocolate Panna Cotta , salt Caramel sauce
or
Saffron poached pear shortbread

£35 2 courses
£45 3 courses

This will be something different supporting local enterprise so let's try and fill the table

3 COURSE CHARITY LUNCH in aid of Fishermen's Mission
2nd menu

The Seafood Restaurant needs no introduction as the first restaurant that Rick opened in 1975. It is now the flagship restaurant of his empire serving fresh local food simply cooked and food from his travels.

A table for 8 people has been booked in my name.

£27.50 for 3 courses + £2.50 donation

There is a pay car park opposite the restaurant or parking in nearby town roads or outside my house.
