What we’re about
Leeds Live Music & Art Lovers hosts an eclectic range of cultural activities, from gigs and plays through to exhibitions and films. Most events are held in Leeds and the surrounding area.
The group's success is founded on a commitment from its members and everyone is encouraged to host their own events. The only restriction is that these should not promote individual business interests. Due to changes imposed by Meetup only organisers can schedule events but if you contact one of the team members they will post it on your behalf and set you up as host.
Membership is free but Meetup does charge around £70 every six months to host the group. This is paid by the organiser but occasional voluntarily contributions from members are essential to keep the site going.

See all- X-Ray Rumble: Free all-dayer at the Brude on Easter SundayBrudenell Social Club, Leeds
Free 'all-dayer' (well from 1500) of bands at the Brude on Easter Sunday. Don't know much about many of the bands, but the lineup seems to veer towards psychobilly, although there's at least one 'drill' rap act playing!!
Main act is X-Ray Cat Trio
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsPrC_JgbYI&ab_channel=BopflixGig is free, but to get a ticket you have to sign up via 'See Tickets'. Link is on the attached: Venue ticket link . Bands will apparently start from 3pm
Please RSVP if you wish to come along and meetup. Given that it's a long afternoon of music, the meetup will be relatively informal, and I may be dipping in and out during the day, but I should be there for most of it.
- Jeffrey Lewis & The Voltage @ The Brude: £20Brudenell Social Club, Leeds
American indie veteran Jeffrey Lewis returns to the UK for the umpteenth time. He's been kicking around for years and is normally great live.
